The Finer Essence, Inc is the vision of Owner and President, Shatik S. Stephens. Her passion for the stage ignited at a young age, propelling her to perform on various stages across international waters and the Caribbean.

Raised on St. John in the United States Virgin Islands, Shatik's journey began as Miss St. John United States Virgin Islands 1994, Miss NAACP, Miss Phi Mu Alpha and First Runner-Up for Miss America Virgin Islands. From the age of 13, she embarked on a coaching career that has been her guiding force ever since.
